I notice younger people slamming doors and cabinets and such, and of course they are slamming it right it their own face and I wonder, why don’t they notice. There seems to be some serious desensitization in modern life. Lack of grace? Certainly. To me it’s the most obvious way to be completely oblivious to any level of consciousness of the reality of ones presence and effect in the world.

Re above comment. Young people who listen to all that loud noise they call music are already partially deaf and do not realize the racket they make.
