On Thursday, March 5, THE Jazz Club at the Cloverdale Arts Alliance is pleased to present The Shea Breaux Wells Quintet.Shea is a powerful vocalist who blends the genres of chill jazz, singer/songwriter, rock and elegant funk. Having played in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and more…she enjoys seeking out fine musicians and creating a mixture of material that allows everyone to delve in and find a fresh twist in a tune. Shea and her band create an electric energy that flows from simple and down-home to otherworldly.
Joining Shea at THE Jazz Club will be Jordan Wardlaw on saxophone, a player with impressive stylistic diversity; Ian Scherer on guitar, nominated by the North Bay Music Awards as Jazz Artist of the Year 2005, 2006 and 2007, Ian is an expert in the language of jazz; James DeMartini on bass, a versatile bass player, who can often be heard laying down the basslines for the band Court n’ Disaster; Matt Power on drums, an intuitive, yet driving drummer, with a Bachelor’s of Music in Jazz Performance from CSU Sacramento.
The Cloverdale Arts Alliance is located at 204 N. Cloverdale Blvd. Tickets are $15 for Cloverdale Arts Alliance members and $20 for non-members. Doors open at 7:30 pm; music from 8-10pm. THE Jazz Club takes place the first Thursday of each month from October through May.

THE Jazz Club is a program of the Cloverdale Arts Alliance, a non-profit arts organization bringing cultural arts to northern Sonoma County. Other CAA programs include Friday Night Live at the Plaza, Art Gallery, Sculpture Trail, Music Workshops, Discovering Art Series, Writer Workshops, Art Classes, Dance Classes, Wine Appreciation Workshops, and Special Events.
