Please join Whitethorn Winery and Sanctuary Forest for the 2nd annual Drink Wine, Save Salmon wine tasting fundraiser! The event will be held on November 28th and 29th from 1-5 p.m. at Whitethorn Winery, and proceeds will benefit Sanctuary Forest’s Lost River Wetland & Coho Recovery Project.
The two-day event will feature Whitethorn Winery's new, current and library releases of Pinot Noir and a barrel tasting featuring Lost Coast Vineyards Pinot Noirs and Light Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon. There will be a variety of food on sale, including barbecued sausages with side salads and local crab and oysters. Also featured will be a silent raffle and auction (with local food, art, wine and more), a bar with a selection of wine and beer, and live music. Proceeds (including 20% of wine sales) will go to support Sanctuary Forest's work on behalf of coho recovery.
So, come one, come all to celebrate the season of gratitude with neighbors and friends from near and far. Enjoy wine and food, listen to the wonderful sounds of local musicians and rejoice in the sharing of abundance on behalf of the fish. Drinking wine never felt so good!
Held at 545 Shelter Cove Road, Whitethorn, CA (inside the Whitethorn Construction yard). $5 cover charge.
