So. Col. Hackworth, too, reaffirms that, contrary to our popular notions, there are problems in the world which NO amount of high explosives will solve. This officer has long, consistent experience in positions to know clearly whereof he speaks. So, how is it all these U.S. military adventures (at least since the ’40’s, up through today, with a goddamned vengeance) are promoted, advocated, run by losers without a lick of such experience? Does it have anything to do with the music of the cash registers?
And how is it we, the U.S. public, keep allowing it, believing these lying weenies?
