The Cloverdale Arts Alliance (CAA) is pleased to host the Sonoma County Chamber Singers’ presentation of “Tidings…of Great Song” at the United Church of Cloverdale on Friday, December 5. Join us as we herald the holiday season with top-notch choral music – from echoes of Old World cathedrals in Monteverdi's sumptuous harmonies to new classics by Eric Whitacre and local composer, Janis Dunson Wilson. The program will include a special presentation of Kevin A. Memley's Magnificat – a fresh setting of the traditional Song of Mary with driving rhythms guaranteed to excite and sure to warm the winter chill. The United Church of Cloverdale is located at 430 N. Cloverdale Blvd. Theconcert is free, but donations are cheerfully accepted! The music begins 7:30 pm. The Sonoma County Chamber Singers is a presentation of the Cloverdale Arts Alliance, in partnership with the United Church of Christ. CAA is a non-profit arts organization bringing cultural arts to Northern Sonoma County. CAA programs include Friday Night Live at the Plaza, Art Gallery, THE Jazz Club, Sculpture Trail, Music Workshops, Discovering Art Series, Art Classes, Dance Classes, Wine Appreciation Workshops, and Special Events.
