[Apr 9] The Mendocino Coast Audubon Society will host a bird walk at Hendy Woods State Park on Saturday, April 9. No experience is necessary. Participants will meet at 9:00 outside the park at the south end of the Navarro River bridge. Binoculars will be available for those who need. Weather permitting, this walk should end around noon. This is a wonderful time to go birding - many of our winter visitors are still here, the summer birds have started to arrive, and everybody is singing. We hope to see you on Saturday.
