It's important to note that the Mendocino County Deputy Sheriff's Association, a group one would assume would be supportive of a new courthouse, in fact opposes the project.

The Redwood Valley Water District, has no water rights at this time to pump any water out of Lake Mendocino which belongs to the Russian River Flood Control and Water Improvement District (RRFCD), due to the fact that RRFCD has not declared that there is any surplus water available to the RVCWD at this time. The RVCWD water rights permit does not allow the pumping water from Lake Mendocino at this time due to drought conditions, water flows below the Lake, and also the level of the conservation pool at in Lake Mendocino.
These strange lights in the sky keep happening. I noticed the letter in the paper last week with the picture of a light over the clinic from John Kendall. On Valentine's night at Lauren's someone noticed a light in the sky, so lots of people went outside and saw it. We were all speculating what it might be. Some thought it could be a drone, some thought it could be a UFO. It was moving pretty strangely, so I don't think it could have been a drone. What's going on here, people?
The destructive mowing of the Headlands State Park in Mendocino is so sad to see. All the foliage is gone except a few small patches. No more habitat at all, no roses, no berries, no grasses, no small paths, no secret quiet spots, no lizards, snakes, mice; nothing interesting at all just stubble and skitched raw earth.
The Anderson Valley Election Committee is announcing an election for Mayor of the Valley. The PWEIP* party has put forth Steve Sparks as a Candidate for Mayor of the Valley.
This letter is to officially ask those of you who farm at night to cease creating noise that keeps your neighbors, including schoolchildren and other farmers, awake between the hours of 10 PM and 7 AM. We request that you cease all of these activities as they are a detriment to public health and are causing extreme anxiety, anger and frustration to hundreds of residents of Anderson Valley. Please respond to this letter with your intentions on these matters so that we may know how to best work together for the good of the valley.
I am happy to read that you are following through with a lawsuit to obligate the County to enforce its noise ordinance. The way you have framed the argument seems to make the case exclusively reasonable. There are ways to use frost fan technology that comply with the limits of the current noise ordinance; it is the responsibility of grape growers to respect those laws just like very other citizen.
To all those know me (Big 'B'), I am sad to say I won't be returning to Mendocino County after my stay here in the California Department of Corrections is complete later this year. I'm doing life on the installment plan and it has taken its toll on me and I'm starting over with my woman away from everyone and everything I know.
