Evening Dining in the Valley. Back to regular spring hours.

Lauren’s Restaurant: Lunch Thu-Sun, 11.30am-2.30pm; Dinner Tue-Sat, 5-9pm (Mexican Monday returns in March). Lizbby’s: Mon-Sat 10am-9pm, serving breakfast on Sat. Closed Sunday. The Buckhorn Pub: Mon and Thur: 11am open, 11pm bar, with the Prime Rib Special on Thur; Wed: 4pm open, 11pm bar; Fri: 11am open, midnight bar; Sat: 10am open, midnight bar; Sun: 10am open, 11pm bar. Kitchen open until 9pm every night. Brunch served weekends 10am-3pm. Closed Tuesday. The Boonville Hotel: Friday and Saturday evenings with family-style, prix fixe menu; Sunday lunch at 1pm. #540. The AV Fire Department welcomes Ukiah Oxygen Company to the Boonville firehouse Friday, February 16 from 11am-1pm. Get your fire extinguishers recharged and inspected. (Also for sale.) Plus demonstrations.

#541. Live music at Lauren’s Restaurant Saturday, February 17 at 9pm with Bob Ayers’ Boonville Big Band.

#542. The Vets from the Mendocino Animal Hospital visit the Valley Thursday, February 22 at the AV Farm Supply from 2-4pm.

#543. The County Dump is open from 9am-4pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

#544. The Boonville Farmers Market Winter venue at Seebass Winery in Boonville is Saturday mornings, 9.30am-Noon. Cindy, 895-2949.

#545. The Bookmobile returns next Tuesday, February 20 at: Navarro Store 9am (for just 30 minutes before heading out to Comptche); the Floodgate 12.30pm; Philo 1.30pm; Boonville (Apple Hall) 2.30pm.

Senior Center menu next week at the Veterans Building in Boonville: $6 donation (seniors) and $7 (Non-seniors). Tomorrow, Thursday, February 15, the lunch, served by Marti Titus and her crew at Noon, will be Steak Pizzola followed by Wendy's Oatmeal Bars. Next Tuesday, February 20, the lunch features Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Cannoli Poke Cake for dessert. Includes vegetables, salad bar, and fruit, plus milk, coffee, tea, and lemonade!
