Remember when we accepted the notion that women & minorities would straighten things out if they got the chance?

  2. Jim Updegraff October 24, 2016

My, my, your misogynistic views and racism is certainly showing with your vile comments.

    • Pat Kittle October 24, 2016

I think we ought to stop kissing Israel’s ass too, so you can add can “antisemitic” to your list.

BTW, David Duke has always opposed these criminal wars for Israel that Bill & Bush & Obama & Hillary are so eager to fight. Yes, David Duke.

So stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

Ridiculing the sanctimonious hypocrisy of scum like Michele Obama and Hillary Clinton is neither misogynistic nor racist. Perhaps if Michele condemned the action of the Clintons in Haiti or the murder of innocent people by drones employed her mendacious husband I’d respect her.

    Jimmy Dore is right on.

…the Obama Administration gave Israel $3.1 billion for Fiscal Year 2015 in direct bilateral military aid (also referred to as Foreign Military Financing or FMF). The U.S. government also gave $619.8 million for “joint” U.S.-Israel missile defense programs (designed to protect Israeli territory from potential outside threats), bringing total military aid to Israel to $3.7 billion per year.

Put another way, American taxpayers give Israel $10.2 million per day (in 2015).

$3.7 / year to this vile little apartheid theocracy.

I guess the Christian Zionists are hoping that all the Jews in the world will move to Israel then convert to Christianity so Jesus can come back. However, according to the latest report from Craig Stehr, who is vacationing on the Mormon planet Kolob, Jesus is happily settled there, chanting with other Mormon and obscurantist zombies every day, and has no intention of relocating to earth’s Middle East.

There are an estimated 50 million Christian Zionists in the U.S. and according to THEOCRACY WATCH,

… over one-third of those Americans who support Israel report that they do so because they believe the Bible teaches that the Jews must possess their own country in the Holy Land before Jesus can return.

    Athena help us.

Louis, your source [ http://www.ifamericansknew.org ] is a superb insight into what none of these bought-&-paid-for candidates (not even Jill Stein) will touch with a 10-foot pole.

I bought & passed around several copies of Alison Weir’s “Against Our Better Judgment: The Hidden History of How the U.S. Was Used to Create Israel.”

I also wrote an Amazon book review (& posted countless comments following other reviews):

      Regards, Pat

Thanks Pat. I’m glad you like it.
I believe I heard Ms. Weir interviewed on radio and she alluded to the site.
Cannot remember who interviewed her or when.
I guess Mike is right about dementia.

Speaking of Mike, lighten up a bit, Pat.
        He’s good people.
I often disagree with him, but he has a sense of humor and a lack of malice that I respect.

I’m glad your back surgery has worked out. I may be facing a similar procedure.
Bike riding seems to exacerbate the problem.

I’d like to recommend one more book about Israel–it may be hard to find:
THE HIDDEN HISTORY OF ZIONISM by Ralph Schoenman.
It exposes Zionist mythology like “A land without people for a people without land”

As a Jew, I am ashamed of the crimes of Zionists against the people of Palestine. The Palestinians were not responsible for The Holocaust and should not have to suffer because of it.

Louis Bedrock – MO is out there, walking her talk. She’s not asking for anyone’s’ respect. What have you done as an activist of late – besides spending too much time poring over a dictionary for all the big words?

  6. LouisBedrock October 24, 2016

To be fair, Michelle’s husband and Hillary’s as well, have also supported financially more progressive, humane, non-Zionist countries like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Colombia, and The Congo. And progressive groups like the Calvinist missionaries of SIL in the Amazon and the Taliban in Afghanistan–now also known as Al Queda and ISIS.

God bless American foreign policy. God bless God and the American Way.

If Ms. Campbell finds words of two syllables or more too challenging, she should stick to her comic books: they have pictures to facilitate comprehension.

    The AVA,
    Refuge for the imaginings,
    And pictures unfolding,
    In the aging dementia fevers
    Of old farts and fartesses.

    • LouisBedrock October 24, 2016

And for know nothing simpletons with the depth and clarity of mud puddles.

      • Mike October 24, 2016

        Yes, true!

Which makes us simpletons useful: mud baths
cool the fevers feeding the dementia, instilling
        the relief lucidity provides.

Then dawns maybe the realization that
        objectification spawns imaginings and not
        a knowing.

    • Pat Kittle October 24, 2016

Isn’t ageism supposed to be on your shit-list?

      • Mike October 25, 2016

Nope, too old to give a shit.

        • Pat Kittle October 25, 2016

          Have you tried (moral) fiber?

          • Mike October 25, 2016

Too much heavy lifting for an aging back, alas.

So, I flow helplessly down to the wastewater pond.

            • Pat Kittle October 25, 2016

              I’m almost 70.

Last month a doctor removed bone from my L3, 4, & 5 vertebrae to relieve pressure on nerves.

Highly recommended, if that’s your problem.

              • Mike October 25, 2016

I got bone spurs on the anterior side of c 5 and 6 that impinge on the spine and nerve branch. There can be flareups of severe pain, and significant right arm numbness, but i am not doing any surgery. Over the years, i adapted okay.

That takes real grit to do the route you took. I am pretty much a physical coward (aka “wuss”).

                Glad it worked!

                • Pat Kittle October 27, 2016

I’ve had plenty of surgery for one damn thing or another.

Life would have long ago not been worth it otherwise.

  8. Elaine Kalantarian October 25, 2016

Thank you Zack for this – Dore does such a great job breaking through the bullshit. He is EXACTLY right about the Dem propaganda-distraction from real issues and the fools who fall for it. It is disgusting!

  9. Jim Updegraff October 26, 2016

It looks like it may be a blow out for Hillary. Guess the misogynists and bigots will have to crawl back under their rocks

  10. LouisBedrock October 26, 2016

Hillary and her supporters are as deplorable as Trump and his thugs.
Stupid ignorant housewives who feel their pathetic lives will be vindicated by electing this witch as President.
What do they have in common with this smug entitled yuppie scumbag?
Trump says terrible things. Bill and Hillary have done terrible things since their days as the rulers of Arkansas.
A plague on both their houses.

  11. Jim Updegraff October 26, 2016

Israel: really doesn’t matter who is President and their view on Israel. the Israeli lobby owns Congress lock, stock and barrel and Congress would over ride the President if he/she went against the lobby.

    • Pat Kittle October 27, 2016

      Jim,

6 hours ago (October 26, 2016 at 9:43 am) you scolded us for failing to support Hillary.

Now (3:13 pm) you understand why.

A remarkable connecting of dots in so short a time. Good on you.

  12. Pat Kittle October 27, 2016

Beneath its humanitarian pretenses the (((Guardian))) is merely another Zionist propaganda dispenser, ultimately supporting far more suffering for everyone, including women, as entire countries are laid to waste.
