How many malignant narcissists does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A) not their responsibility but they can surely point out who to blame for darkness.

A gathering of vultures a venue
A group of baboons a congress
A room full of narcissists must be a senate

“Don’t let it happen, it depends on you.” That’s like a safety meeting where the boss says, “be safe”, or “just use common sense”, or maybe, “It depends on you.” Meeting over. It’s pretty useless advice.
How about take responsibility for yourself, and avoid handing over responsibility to a central government, or single leader, or a single religion, or single party? Stay in control of your own life.

So now you’re peddling anarchy it seems. I’d hate to be your brain.

That’s a stretch. You actually think it’s better to have no self-responsibility, no self-direction, no means of protection other than agencies who require your allegiance?
It’s possible to have a government and still take care of yourself, and to have many levels of cooperation via friendships, family, neighborhoods, interest groups, bioregions, etc.
It’s not a one-or-the-other proposition: totalitarianism or anarchy.

You conservathugs are funny!
It’s kinda hard to “…take care of yourself…” when you’re working for some peddler who won’t pay a living wage or benefits. There is NO DIGNITY in that sort of slave labor. The big corporate interests are just as bad. I hope I live to see the day when lot of you conservathugs are put in your places. Your “thought” reflects exactly what I would expect of a fascist enclave (that pretends to be an intellectual, forward-thinking center) like Mendo.

Taking responsibility for yourself, includes taking responsibility for your government, not the government taking responsibility for you.

Take your phony bellowing about “responsibility” and shove it where the sun don’t shine. I can remember not too long ago when you were cheerleading for jobs that paid a whole $13 per hour. People like you and Ms. Cooskey are not offering solutions. Instead, you both are part of the fascist problem.

Lol– well, i guess when someone can reach such a conclusion and make such an irrelevant ad hominem accusation from looking at one reasonable comment, there’s no need of telling him anything else! Conversation between Non-Reading, Harvey, and me is over!

Oh, my. I love it when yuppies and the masters they serve, the ruling class, get mad. My conclusions are based on my experiences over the past 50 years. I learned to hate yuppies early on…before they were called yuppies.
