[Jan 22]
Don't miss this exciting opportunity to hear 20th century classical music inspired by American jazz! Adding to nearly thirty years of tradition of bringing outstanding musicians to the Coast, the Vinifera Trio "bring a casual intimacy to their performances", playing everything from classical to contemporary.
On Sunday, January 22, the trio will be playing Stravinsky's L'Histoire du Soldat, arranged by the composer for clarinet, violin and piano, as well as Milhaud's Suite for Clarinet, Violin and Piano, Poulenc's Sonata for Clarinet and Piano, Ravel's Violin Sonata No. 2, and the wonderfully familiar An American in Paris by George Gershwin, arranged by Matthew Boyles of the Vinifera Trio.
Sunday, January 22, 3:00 pm
Preston Hall, Mendocino
