UKIAH VALLEY ARTIST COOPERATIVE GALLERY
Jim Colling works with acrylic, oil, and pastels and is showing at the UVAC Gallery in the Pear Tree Center as well as at his own gallery at 1170 Sanford Ranch Rd. Ukiah. Believing that artists deserve an outlet for their work Jim helped form the UVAC a cooperative of 15 local artists who together sponsor The Annual Art Faire, Artoberfest, the annual art show, and the annual artists Studio Tour.
The Ukiah Valley Artists Gallery is located at 518 E. Perkins, in the Pear Tree Center.
CORNER GALLERY
On First Friday an Opening Celebration will take place at the Corner Gallery in Ukiah for a new exhibit titled "From a Weaver's Garden" featuring new tapestries and selected rugs by Ukiah designer-weaver Stephanie T. Hoppe.
Dick Lumaghi has made a living as a studio potter making a wide range of functional, high-fired stoneware for domestic use. He has concentrated on a line of “standard” ware to keep from getting stale by occasional explorations into the artistic end of the craft/art spectrum.
Bonnie Lumaghi’s work in this exhibition falls loosely into two categories: the California landscape and an appreciation for the use of “humble” materials in art: in this case, scraps of antique Japanese fabric.

ART CENTER UKIAH
First Friday reception features music by Midas Well, with Chris Gibson, Char Jacobs, Dori Kramer, a mushroom appetizer plate, ($5) and local wine. “Exploring The Forests” exhibit at the Art Center Ukiah's gallery held in conjunction with Visit Mendocino's Mushroom, Wine and Beer Fest. GRACE HUDSON MUSEUM
The Grace Hudson Museum will continue to show "Days of Grace: California Artist Grace Hudson in Hawaii," a collection of paintings the Museum's namesake made during a near-year spent in Hawaii in 1901, along with artifacts, excerpts from letters, and works from other painters active in Hawaii during that time.

T.A.P.S. THE ARTS AND PERFORMANCE STUDIO
The artists of TAPS are currently working on harvest themed projects and classical styled art pieces to be shown during First Friday art walk coming up on November 7th. The gallery will be open from 5 to 8 with music, refreshments and many items available for sale including original art as well as reproductions printed on reusable bags, mugs and stickers.
