UC Extension Forestry Advisory Greg Guisti will host a tour of selected areas of the 5,300-acre UC Hopland Field Research Station on April 19, 2014 for Anderson Valley Land Trust from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. The tour will include a pre-historic petroglyph site, oak genetic regeneration plots, possibly an active turkey vulture nest site, an overview of Ukiah Valley to discuss "landscape ecology", and a spot to look at wildflowers in one of the biological areas.
