Bird’s Eye View (March 21, 2018)

“Awesome” is overused, and frequently misused in many cases. But it clearly applies Valley’s oldest resident, Freda Fox, who turns 100 on Monday, March 26. Freda was born in 1918 in Youngstown, Ohio. Following a widely-traveled life including a stint as a nurse in Europe for four years during WW2, she eventually settled in the Valley in 1964. Her fascinating story can be read in full at avalleylife.wordpress.com/category/list-of-interviews/freda-fox/. It’s a great read about a very special person. Happy Birthday, Freda!
