Was that Malcolm’s voice or somebody reading his words?

Good question. It would be interesting to hear Clarence Thomas read Malcolm X. Not to mention Donald Trump and/or Connie Hawkins.

    That’s Malcolm.
    I’m sure of it.
Compare the voice with archived speeches available on line.

On a different and unrelated theme, “Hollywood Confidential” is one of the best things I’ve ever read in the AVA.

It sounded like Malcolm but it wasn’t the tone I remembered from the one time I heard him (at the Audubon ballroom). I remembered wrong… I always read and appreciate your translations.

And now for Malcolm X on the deceptive Jew:

When Malcolm X was asked whether the Black Muslims are anti-Semitic, he replied: “Many Jews have guilt feelings when people talk about ‘exploitation.’ This is because they know that they control 90 percent of the businesses in black communities, from the Atlantic to the Pacific. And they benefit more from black buying power than blacks do from other parts of the white community. So they feel guilty about it.” He also complained that Jews can be found on the boards of such organizations as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, but, he continued, “the same Jews won’t let you become president of B’nai B’rith, or any of their other organizations.” Although Malcolm X denied that his organization is anti-Semitic, his comments left many wondering if that is genuinely true.

    [Excerpt]:
Malcolm X spelled out his views on Zionism during the last half-year of his life. “These Israeli Zionists,” said Malcolm, in an issue of the Egyptian Gazette, “religiously believe their Jewish God has chosen them to replace the outdated European colonialism with a new form of colonialism….”

What Mohammad Ali has to say about race is all well and good, but please tell me where is the line drawn between racial pride and racism? How about White Nationalism, and Black pride? It seems to me Ali nailed it when he mentioned the union between someone from Puerto Rico, and someone from Korea. That union presents more of a conflict of culture, and not race. That would be a tough one. But those unions happen, and they are successful. How many American soldiers serving in Japan after WW2 married Japanese women? Quiet a few. Tiger Woods mother is from Thailand, his father a black American soldier. A roommate of mine from college had a redneck father from Arkansas, and a mother who was second generation from Japan. That seemed to work. How about Obama? Interracial marriage has the advantage of potentially producing hybrid stock that is inherently healthy. What parent would complain about that?

“…please tell me where is the line drawn between racial pride and racism?”

“Racial pride” is “Black power,” “Brown Power,” “Jewish power,” etc.

“Racism” is “It’s OK to be White.”

I’m not making this up. Posting flyers that simply say “It’s OK to be White” will get you condemned by your mayor, & investigated by your local police — AND the FBI!!
